What is Muffin's Image & PDF Converter?

Muffin's Image & PDF Converter is a free, browser-based tool that handles four common file tasks in one place โ€” converting images between formats, combining images into a PDF, batch converting multiple images at once, and merging multiple PDF files into a single document. Everything runs entirely in your browser. No file is ever uploaded to a server, making it safe for sensitive screenshots, research figures, lecture slides, and confidential documents.

What can you do with this tool?

Combine multiple images into a single PDF. Each image becomes one page. Reorder with arrows before creating. Supports A4, Letter, and fit-to-image page sizes.
โšก Batch Convert

๐Ÿ”— Merge PDFs
Combine multiple PDF files into one. Upload your PDFs, reorder with arrows, and download the merged result. Perfect for combining lecture notes, reports, or research papers.

How to merge multiple PDFs into one

Click the Merge PDFs tab, drop your PDF files, and they appear as a numbered list. Use the โ†‘โ†“ arrows to set the order you want โ€” the first file in the list becomes the first pages of the merged document. Give your output a filename and click Merge. The combined PDF downloads directly to your device.

This is useful for combining lecture slides into one file, merging chapters of a report, joining multiple research papers for reading offline, or combining scanned documents. There is no limit on how many PDFs you can merge โ€” the only constraint is your browser's memory.

Why convert PNG to JPG or WebP?

PNG files are lossless and large โ€” great for screenshots and graphics with transparent backgrounds. JPG files are compressed and much smaller โ€” better for photographs and images you want to share quickly. WebP is a modern format that gives you smaller file sizes than both PNG and JPG at the same visual quality, making it ideal for web use.

Muffin lets you control the quality level when converting to JPG or WebP โ€” from 60% (smallest file) to 95% (highest quality). You can see the original and converted file size comparison in the preview before downloading.

100% private โ€” nothing is uploaded

Image and PDF files often contain sensitive content โ€” confidential documents, personal photos, proprietary diagrams, or unpublished research. Most online converters send your files to a remote server for processing. Muffin processes everything locally in your browser. Your files are read into browser memory, converted using the Canvas API and PDF-lib, and downloaded โ€” all without leaving your device. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and the tool will still work.
